Our June Theme:
The World Conference for the Well-Being of Children in Switzerland proclaimed June 1st to be International Children’s Day in 1925. It is still celebrated on various days in many places around the world, to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children, and to initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the world’s children. It is a day to show respect for and celebrate childhood.
Here at Kinder Works, we are going to celebrate it all month long! We will look at children all around the world, remember our EQ projects that helped those in need, and think of ways to continue helping. Of course, we will also honor our own children, and all that we’ve accomplished during this school year.
